Abstract:
To prevent runaway on a device side by detecting an oscillation stop of a clock signal generation circuit by use of a clock oscillation stop detection circuit and putting out an alarm signal.
When oscillation of a second clock signal 11 is stopped to do away with input to a logic circuit 1, this clock oscillation stop detection function-equipped encoder detects the oscillation stop by the clock oscillation stop detection circuit 1A, and outputs the alarm signal 20 to prevent the runaway on the device side.
