To provide a clothes drying machine in which a degree of entanglement of laundry placed in a rotary drum is detected so as to eliminate the entanglement during a drying operation.
A first pair of electrodes 8 and a second pair of electrodes 9 are respectively provided in different positions on an inner peripheral plate 7 provided in a front portion of a main body 1 so as to come into contact with laundry placed in a rotary drum 2, and a degree of entanglement of the laundry placed in the rotary drum 2 is detected through a comparing operation, executed by a calculating means 12, for comparing a resistance value output from a first resistance value detecting means 10 connected to the first pair of electrodes 8 and a resistance value output from a second resistance value detecting means 11 connected to the second pair of electrodes 9. In accordance with a comparison value obtained trough the comparing operation by the calculating means 12, rotation of the rotary drum 2 is controlled by a drum rotation controlling means 13 for eliminating entanglement of the laundry.
