To provide a co-generation system that can effectively utilize heat dissipated from an engine.SOLUTION: A co-generation system includes: an engine for generating electricity; an air conditioner; a water temperature regulating device for changing water temperature on the basis of heat output from the engine before activation of the air conditioner; and piping for circulating water of which temperature has been changed by the water temperature regulating device, where the water is used for exchanging heat when the air conditioner is activated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
