Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coal ash concrete and a compounding method thereof which enables a large quantity and effective use of coal ash as concrete raw material.
SOLUTION: The unit cement quantity and water/cement ratio is determined on the basis of target strength of the concrete and, thereafter, the quantity of coal ash and aggregate to be compounded for cement and water of unit cement quantity and unit water quantity is determined. Coal ash is compounded for the unit cement quantity with outer percentage and the compounding quantity of fine aggregate of the weight corresponding to the coal ash quantity is decreased. Freshness property, strength and neutralizing speed of the concrete is regulated by the compounding quantity of the coal ash.
