Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coal crushing method enabling a variation in a coal particle size after being crushed to be suppressed more than before.SOLUTION: Coal particle size measuring instruments 15 and 16 are respectively installed on the inlet side and the outlet side of a coal crusher 10 for crushing coal by using an impact of a hammer rotating in a casing, and a correlation between a coal particle size before being crushed and a coal particle size after being crushed is preobtained using a measurement result of the coal particle size measuring instruments 15 and 16 installed on the inlet side and the outlet side of the coal crusher 10 with a current value of a motor for rotating the hammer as a parameter, and a target current value I0(A) at which the coal particle size after being crushed becomes a target particle size is determined by applying the measurement result of the coal particle size measuring instrument 15 installed on the inlet side of the coal crusher 10 to the correlation, the current value I1(A) flowing to the motor is set to a target current value I0(A), and the coal is crushed. The current value I1(A) is then corrected in accordance with a deviation between the measurement result of the coal particle size measuring instrument 16 installed on the outlet side of the coal crusher 10 and the target particle size.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
