Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce an article, in particular, a protected article which is used at a high temp. and a corrosive environment.
CONSTITUTION: An article used in a high temp. corrosive environment is protected by sequential formation of coating films. The coating films consist of (i) a first coating film 11 of one or ≥ two metals or alloys, (ii) a second coating film 12 of an arbitrary mixture of one or ≥ two among ceramics and one or ≥ two metals or alloys, (iii) a third coating film 13 of one or ≥ two among ceramics, (iv) a forth coating film 14 of one or ≥ two among metals or alloys, and the forth coating film is substantially non-porous.
