To provide a coated metal sheet having a coating film having no fear of the elusion of an endocrine disruptor such as bisphenol A or the like, not containing vinyl chloride or the like generating dioxins at the time of incineration and excellent in retort resistance, adhesion, flavor properties, elusion properties, impact resistance (dent resistance), processability or the like, and a metal package using the coated metal sheet.

The coated metal sheet consists of a metal substrate, the undercoating film applied to the surface of the metal substrate and the surface coating film applied to the undercoating film. The undercoating film comprises an epoxy coating film and/or a polyester/amino type coating film, and the surface coating film comprises a polyester/phenolic coating film.
