Abstract:
To provide a coating agent for preventing scale adhesion, which can form a coating layer that is excellent in a performance of preventing adhesion of scale originating in an alkaline fluid, and is also excellent in alkali resistance.SOLUTION: The coating agent for preventing scale adhesion includes forming a coating layer in which the difference (A1-A2) between a contact angle (A1) with water and a contact angle (A2) with a calcium carbonate scale liquid is 5° or larger. The contact angle (A1) with water and the contact angle (A2) with the calcium carbonate scale liquid are each values that have been measured after the coating layer has been immersed in an alkaline solution. The calcium carbonate liquid is an aqueous solution that has been adjusted to pH 8 by dripping 0.2 mol/L of hydrochloric acid into pure water that contains 2% calcium carbonate powder.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
