The applying device of coating liquid including a table that fixes a substrate on a surface of which the partition is formed, a nozzle that is provided as opposed to the table and applies a predetermined amount of the coating liquid to a recess between partitions on the substrate, and a moving means that relatively moves the table and nozzle three-dimensionally, wherein the shapes of delivery holes in the nozzle are longer in the coating direction than in the coating width direction, and the conditions of 1.1≤L/W≤1.7 is satisfied if it is assumed that the length of the coating width direction is W and that of the coating direction is L, is provided.
