Abstract:
To provide an inexpensive coaxial connector protection cap for preventing radio wave leakage and incoming of radio interference by adding an electromagnetic function to a conventional connector protection cap attached for protection.SOLUTION: A coaxial connector protection cap is made to freely cap a coaxial connector 11 installed so as to face the inside of a room from a wall surface 1, the coaxial connector included in an apparatus 10 for taking out a television signal from the wall surface 1, the apparatus used for a receiving system for transmitting a television receiving radio wave. Into the inside of the coaxial connector protection cap are filled an elastic member 4 having elasticity and metal foil 5 on the elastic member 4's surface. The metal foil 5 on the side facing the capped connector is open. In a state in which the coaxial connector protection cap is made to cap the coaxial connector 11, the metal foil 5 electromagnetically covers an end K of the coaxial connector 11 that is open to the inside of the room from the wall surface 1 and comprises a central conductor 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
