Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an encoder in which coding efficiency was improved by preventing propagation to each converted component of second color space, even if the S/N of a specific component in a first color space has been deteriorated, when converting an acquired first color space image into a second color space image, and transmitting while compressing at 4:4:4, and to provide a decoder thereof and an endec.SOLUTION: An encoder includes determined value calculation means 11 for obtaining a determined value α based on the magnitude of noise component, by generating two color difference components from an image obtained from R, G, and B signals of first color space, and then performing a predetermined calculation, conversion formula selection means 12 for comparing the determined value α with a predetermined determination threshold, and selecting a conversion formula for use in color space conversion based on the comparison, color space conversion means 13 performing color space conversion by using a selected conversion formula, and coded signal generation means 14 for generating a coded signal by performing 4:4:4 data compression for the signal component of second color space, by using coding technology.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
