To reduce labor and shorten the term of works because a plurality of steel-pipe-sheet piles can be set at a time while lowering resistance in the case of the pitching of the piles by joint sections and improving cutoff properties because the number of joints is decreased and to also omit and simplify an auxiliary construction method such as a dosing because cutoff properties are enhanced in this manner in a coffering by the steel-pipe-sheet piles used for construction works or the like on a land and an ocean.
The two throw type steel-pipe-sheet piles 1 in which mutual steel pipes 2 and 2 arranged in a row are connected integrally by H-steel 4 as splicing plates having an H-shaped cross section, in which edges are bonded with the peripheral surfaces of each steel pipe 2 and the joints are installed on the reverse side to the mutually connected sides of the steel pipes 2 and 2 are connected by mutually bonding the joints 3, and engaging grooves 6 are projected and formed to the peripheral surfaces of the steel pipes, and pipes 9 as engaging members at the ends of flexible plates 8 are inserted into the engaging grooves 6 and the mutual external sections of the joints 3 are closed by the flexible plates 8.
