This cogeneration system is provided with a forecast atmospheric temperature output portion 53 that outputs data of a today's forecast representative atmospheric temperature; a memory 54 that stores time change data of load electric energy at each representative atmospheric temperature in advance; a data-extracting portion 55 that extracts time change the data that correspond to the representative atmospheric temperatures of the data outputted by the forecast atmospheric temperature output portion 53; and an operation time setting portion 56 that sets the operation time of a cogeneration facility 4 where the operation time includes peak load electric energy and load electric energy less than power source electric energy generated by the cogeneration facility 4. This facility 4 is operated during the operation time, an electricity-accumulating facility 32 is charged during a charging period, and the electric power of the electricity-accumulating facility 32 is used as load electric power during the period other than the charging period.
