To improve the efficiency of failure recovery work when a failure occurs during conveyance of a coin.SOLUTION: A coin processing device includes a coin storage part for storing coins, a coin temporary holding part for holding coins delivered from the coin storage part, a collection part for storing the coins held in the coin temporary holding part, and a control part for changing the state of the coin processing device to a first state in which predetermined recovery processing is not executed when any failure occurs during the conveyance of coins to the collection part from the coin temporary holding part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
