Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cold roll forming method for effectively and inexpensively producing a grating material of a walker grating whose non-slip face is hardly produced by hot forming and whose production lot is small.
SOLUTION: A metal hoop material 2 is transferred forcibly to one side direction, a recess-marked part 21 is formed on the side edge part 20 of the metal hoop material 2 with four numbers of rolls 11 to 14 installed on the way. Three among four numbers of rolls 11 to 14 are pressing rolls 11, 12, 13, the upper and lower main face walls 19, 19 of the metal hoop material 2 and one side edge wall 20 are pressed and held. The rest one of mark impressing roll 14 is provide with a mark impressing teeth 22. This mark impressing roll 14 is pressed on the other side edge face 20 of the metal hoop material 2, a recess impressing part 21 is formed continuously under the normal temperature on the side edge face 20 of the metal hoop material 2. When the recess- marked part 21 exhibits non-slip effect as the grating material of the grating.
