To provide a liquid crystal display device, a mini-LED, and a micro-LED by which the display quality of a display device that requires high definition can be improved, and also provide a color filter substrate for realizing such a display device.SOLUTION: A color filter substrate for a display device in which a plurality of light-emitting diode elements are used as a light source includes a transmittance adjustment layer, a color filter layer, a barrier wall with a lattice shape in a plan view, and a wavelength conversion layer in this order on one surface of a transparent substrate. In the color filter layer, a red filter, a green filter, and a blue filter are disposed as stripe patterns arranged at constant pitches in a first direction in a plan view and extending in a second direction in parallel. A center axis of an opening of the barrier wall with the lattice shape coincides approximately with a center axis of each of the color filters. The wavelength conversion layer is a fluorescence body laminate structure of a green fluorescence body layer and a red fluorescence body layer. The green fluorescence body layer is disposed closer to the color filter layer than the red fluorescence body layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
