To provide a technique for determining a color value of a pigment with a little burden to a user.SOLUTION: A color value determination model generation method is to generate a color value determination model D3 for determining a color value of a pigment. The color value determination model generation method includes: a first image acquisition step S2 for acquiring an image of a solution of fixed concentration of a plurality of sample pigments S having different color values, which is captured under fixed conditions; a generation step S5 for measuring the color values of the plurality of sample pigments S by a predetermined color value measuring method and generating teacher data D2 by associating a measurement result D1 with the image; and a learning step S7 for performing machine learning on the basis of the teacher data D2 and generating the color value determination model D3 for outputting the color value of the pigment when the image of the solution of the pigment is input.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
