Abstract:
Provided are colored latex particles, wherein a radical polymerizable dye and a polymer compound are contained therein, the fractional content of the dye per unit particle weight is 40-98%, the average particle size is 0.05-3.0 μm, and the CV value of the average particle size is 20% or less. The colored latex particles have a high dye content in spite of being polymer-compound-based particles, exhibit a low degree of particle dispersion, and also have high ease of use, thus serving as superior supports for antigens or antibodies.
