To provide a combined heating device having high durability and excellent energy efficiency by improving the combined heating device combining a combustion type indirect heating furnace using a hollow ceramic tube and an induction heating furnace.
The billet for forging is preheated to e.g. 800°C in the combustion type indirect heating furnace 1 and sent to the induction heating furnace 3 by a relaying means 2 provided with a metallic conveyor, and in the induction heating furnace 3, the preheated billet for forging is heated to the last forging temp., e.g. 1200°C, by electromagnetic induction action. The combustion type indirect heating furnace 1 uses the hollow ceramic tube, and the induction heating furnace 3 is constituted by parallel connecting transistors.
