To enable the double or triple concentric stranding by providing a dancer roller between a wire drawing machine and a winding machine, detecting the position of the dancer roller to be fluctuated according to the winding speed of a wire stranding machine, and controlling the rotational speed of a winding block to simultaneously operate a plurality of wire drawing machines.
When the winding speed is unbalanced with the wire drawing speed during the operation, the position of dancer rollers 23, 24 is fluctuated. When the positional fluctuation is detected by a position detector, a control part controls the drive of motors of wire drawing machines 1, 2 corresponding to the dancer rollers 23, 24 to change the wire drawing speed. The wire winding speed is thus balanced with the wire drawing speed to perform the stable operation. Because the respective wire drawing machines 1, 2 are independently controlled, the concentric stranding becomes possible using a plurality of wire drawing machines 1, 2, improving the working efficiency and reducing the manufacturing time.
