Title:
COMBINED MATERIAL FOR MERCURY ALLOCATING MATERIAL, PREPARING METHOD AND MERCURY ALLOCATING MATERIAL OBTAINED IN SUCH WAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2858638
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain mercury allocating material with a high yield of mercury in an activating step and a total amount of mercury to be reduced by combining mercury allocating metal-to-metal compound component containing mercury as well as Ti, Zr with promoting alloy material containing copper, silicon, etc.
SOLUTION: Mercury allocating metal-to-metal compound component containing mercury as well as the second metal out of Ti, Zr and their mixture is combined with promoting alloy or metal compound component containing copper and silicon to form mercury allocating material. In the promoting component, copper, silicon and the third metal of about 10% or less selected out of transition element groups can exist. For the mercury allocating component, Ti3Hg is used. The weight ratio of the mercury allocating component to the promoting component its preferably 20:1-1:20. The mercury allocating material can contain Ti, Zr, Ta, Nb, V and their mixture or getter material selected out of their alloy with Ni, Fe or Al.
