Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prepare a hair cosmetic preventing excessive evaporation of water when blowing hot air on hair with a dryer, suppressing damage with a brush, providing hair with luster and a moist feeling after use, having dry touch, capable of retaining a set style.
CONSTITUTION: This hair cosmetic comprises (A) a betaine, preferably glycine betaine and (B) a wax having 30-90°C melting point in the ratio of 0.01-10wt.%, preferably 0.5-3wt.% of the component A and 0.01-10wt.%, preferably 0.5-3wt.% of the component B. Either natural wax such as beeswax or lanolin or a synthetic wax such as a cholesteryl ester or sucrose fatty acid ester can be used.
