Abstract:

To provide a comminuting apparatus which is further reduced in components compared with conventional comminuting apparatus.

The comminuting apparatus 1 for waste and/or production residues includes a comminuting shaft 20 having at least one shaft bearing arrangements 25, 26, 28, 29, and a drive device having a multi-pole three-phase synchronous motor 100 which is directly connected to the comminuting shaft, wherein comminuting tools 21 are provided at the periphery in a predetermined working region of the comminuting shaft 20, so as to comminute materials to be processed in cooperation with a cooperation means in cooperation therewith. In the comminuting apparatus, the comminuting shaft 20 extends axially into the three-phase synchronous motor 100, and encloses the shaft bearing arrangements 25, 26, 28, 29 at least partially.
