Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To issue a receipt which enables a customer to confirm as a guide the number of remaining points required before it reaches a target point immediately at a glance and to give a customer an incentive to buy more commodities by printing accumulated service points in the form of a graph showing their rate to the target point in the receipt.
SOLUTION: When the termination of registration is declared by a closing key after sales data on all the commodities is registered by the customer, the service point of this time is calculated based on sales data on all the registered commodities. The service point is added to the accumulated service point of the customer, the accumulated service point is updated and the accumulated service point after update is printed on the receipt and issued. The accumulated service point is printed on the receipt as graphs 81, 82 and 85 showing the ratio of the accumulated service point of the customer to the target point which is previously set.
