Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the number of part items and reduce the manufacturing cost by changing the width of a male terminal with a commonage means, and using the male terminal for relay terminals of many kinds having different width of female terminals.
CONSTITUTION: This male terminal has a plate shape, fitting leg sections 33, 33 to a board are formed on one side, and an outer periphery connection section 37 is formed on the other side. A commonage means 32 is provided on the outer periphery connection section 37. The commonage means 32 is formed with a narrow width section 43 connected to a relay terminal 39 having a female terminal 41 of a small size and a wide width section 45 on the positioning projections 35, 35 side. A step section 47 is formed between the wide width section 45 and narrow width section 43. The tip section of the step section 47 is chamfered, and it is brought into contact with the end section of the female terminal section 41 of the relay terminal 39 connected to the narrow width section 43. The width size of the wide width section 45 is set slightly shorter than the inner diameter size of the female terminal section 51 of a relay terminal 49 of a large size.
