Abstract:
To easily set a communication channel even if the same documents are facsimile-transmitted to multiple destinations.
Communication channel deciding data for deciding the communication channel connecting a set transmission destination is retrieved (steps S1 to S3). When pertinent communication channel deciding data is not stored and when communication channel deciding data newer than the stored communication channel deciding data is accumulated in the server of a communication channel data service company, the server is accessed and latest communication channel deciding data is down-loaded (step S4 to step S7). Thus, the most inexpensive communication channel is decided with the latest communication channel deciding data.
