Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce occurrence of a communication failure in a transition period between a normal state and a power-saving state.SOLUTION: The communication device includes: a calculation unit; a recording unit which records first firmware for causing the calculation unit to function with first consumption power and second firmware for causing the calculation unit to function with second consumption power lower than the first consumption power; and a communication unit for offering NULL as a response to a received signal in a predetermined state in which the calculation unit performs switching between the first firmware and the second firmware.
