To solve the problems that a caller is allowed to only perform speech communication at the spot at no charge after listening to commercial information without storing the caller's trouble of listening to the commercial information, i.e. a value in communication equipment by which an advertisement provider bears telephone charge the caller should bear to promote the use of telephone speech communication by distributing the advertisement information to the caller who takes a receiver off the hook to make a call for a fixed period of time and then transmitting dialing tone and that card points are only reduced unilaterally by making a call with no increase in points in a card type public telephone set.
Communication equipment reads points recorded on a recording medium and allows the caller to perform speech communication on the basis of the points and increases/decreases the points of the recording medium according to a speech communication destination. For example, a value given as a counter value for trouble of listening to advertisement information is stored and the value can be utilized later.
