Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide communication quality prediction technology for predicting to what extent a degree of deterioration of communication quality at a TCP level becomes when link operating rate becomes large in a link only from values such as the number of simultaneous connection of flows and an operating rate, which are simply measured without providing assumption to traffic conditions.
SOLUTION: The number of simultaneous connection of flows which pass the link and the operating rate of the link at a predetermined time interval t0 are measured for n times and TCP quality deterioration frequency when the link operating rate becomes ρ is presumed by using combination of these measured values (link operating rate, the number of flows). Thus, to what extent the deterioration frequency of the communication quality at the TCP level becomes when the link operating rate becomes large in the link is presumed only from the values such as the number of simultaneously connection flows and the operating rate, which are simply measured.
