Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication robot which can correctly recognize a content state and perform a communication behavior corresponding to the result of the recognition in a natural way, and a program.SOLUTION: The communication robot is provided that discriminates a plurality of pieces of image data which varies with time and that performs communication based on the discrimination result. The communication robot comprises: a template storage part 22 for storing template image data of a common area which is a common part in the plurality of pieces of image data; an image acquisition part 12 for acquiring the image data; a first recognition processing part 13 for performing first recognition processing for extracting the common area from the acquired pieces of image data, then comparing image data of the extracted common area and the template image data stored in the template storage part 22; a second recognition processing part 14 for performing second recognition processing different from first recognition processing performed by the first recognition processing part 13; and a result presentation part 15 for presenting processing corresponding to a comparison result of the first recognition processing part 13 or of the second recognition processing part 14.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
