A window 20a is formed in an SSIPE driving circuit board 20 in a compact SSIPE camera, an SSIPE 21 is attached to one surface of the circuit board 20 so that the light receiving face of the SSIPE 21 is faced on the window 20a, an infrared cut filter 22 is attached to the other surface and a casing including a lens is attached so as to cover the filter 22. Since the SSIPE 21 is directly attached to the circuit board 20, labor for repeating the mounting of an SSIPE on a circuit board which is a defect in conventional technology can be eliminated, the camera can be inexpensively manufactured and the camera can be slimmed by canceling the thickness of the circuit board 20 by an interval between the SSIPE 21 and the lens.
