Abstract:
PURPOSE:To simplify a waste time compensating operation and to shorten the processing time of an arithmetic microprocessor by providing a sampler in the middle of a control system having the waste time in its input and setting the sampling time at the same value as the waste time. CONSTITUTION:A DC servo motor control system applies the time delay compensation for the sliding mode control and comprises a sliding mode controller 1, a D/A converter 2, a pulse width modulation servo amplifier 3, a DC servo motor 4, a speed detector 5, a position detector 6, etc. The speed signal detected by the detector 5 is converted into a digital signal by an A/D converter 7 and supplied to a waste time compensating block 8 as a speed feedback signal. While the pulse signals produced by the detector 6 and equivalent to the rotational position of a motor 4 are counted by an up/down counter 9 and supplied to the block 8 as the position feedback signals. Thus the corrected feedback value is given to the controller 1.
