Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable the correction of insertion of a component in a short time so as to improve productivity by a method wherein a component mounting detector which detects whether a component is properly mounted or not is provided, and when an improper mounting is detected, data concerning the improper mounting is stored and the improper mounting is automatically corrected based on the data. CONSTITUTION:An electronic circuit board 1 is conveyed from a board feeder 11 to an XY table 5 through a loader rail 9 and first of all it is discriminated whether or not the insertion of an electronic component is completed. If the final insertion is not completed, the component is inserted into a hole provided on the board 1 by a head 7, an improper insertion is detected by an insertion detector 2 based on a signal generated from a piezoelectric element, and if the insertion has been properly performed, the inserting operation is continued. When an improper insertion is detected, storing device is made to store a program and a block which concerns the improper insertion and to output the data with an external output section and then an improper insertion is corrected based on the output.
