PURPOSE: To obtain a composite nonwoven fabric which is useful as a material for industrial purposes as well as for general purposes because it is excellent in all of mechanical characteristics such as tensile strength, ply separation strength or the like, dimensional stability, flexibility, water absorption and high whiteness.
CONSTITUTION: This composite nonwoven fabric is produced laminating the both surfaces of a nonwoven web layer A consisting of synthetic filament fibers with a nonwoven web layer B consisting of cotton weaving fibers having 50-95% fibrillation percentage, wherein the fibers constituting the web layer A are partially bonded mutually by hot pressing, the fibers constituting the web A and the web B are mutually entangled with each other three-dimensionally, further fibers themselves in the web B are also entangled mutually three- dimensionally, thus they are integrally united into one body as a whole.
