Abstract:
To form a reliable terminal electrode without being separated from a laminated ceramic element body, or the like due to an increase in density by high-temperature baking.
The composition for forming an electrode contains a conductive metal material and a glass constituent, where the electrode is formed by baking to the laminated ceramic element body. The glass constituent contains 25 mass% or above BaO, and softening temperature is not less than 600C. The glass constituent contains compositions, such as 15 to 20 mass% B2O3, 5 to 15 mass% SiO2, 3 to 13 mass% ZnO, 25 to 45 mass% BaO, 2 to 12 mass% CaO, 3 to 13 mass% MgO, and 10 mass% or less alkali metal oxide.
