Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition capable of easily and sufficiently softening clothing made of various kinds of synthetic fibers in washing, by adding specific dyestuffs to a specific tertiary amine compound. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by formulating (A) 3-25 wt.% of a mixture between (a) a tertiary amine compound which has at least one of long-chain bond group containing a 11-36C alkyl or alkenyl, and an ester bond, an acid amide bond or an ether bond, (or a salt obtained by reaction of the amine compound with an inorganic acid or a 1-6C organic acid) and (b) its quaternary product, in a weight ratio (a/b) of 0.01/99.99-40/60, and (B) 0.1-100 ppm of Liquitint Sunbeam Yellow (the registered trade name), etc., or acidic or direct dyestuffs of Blue, Red, Violet or Yellow, etc., each selected from the group comprising basic dyes, reactive dyes, (acid) mordant dyes and carbonyl dyes, etc. and adjusting the resultant composition so as to have the pH of 1.5-5.5 and the viscosity of 2-300 mPa.s at 20 deg.C when measured by the Bruckfield type viscometer.
