Abstract:

To provide a composition of a softener which is good at an effect to provide fiber with softness.

A composition of a softener comprises a polymer compound (A) including, as a constitutional unit, a monomer (a) represented by general formula (1). In the formula (1), R1 is a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; X is a group represented by -CON(R2)R3, -CH2NHCON(R4)R5, or -CH2NHCOOR6; R2 and R3 each are independently a hydrogen atom, a 1-4C alkyl group or a 1-3C hydroxyalkyl group; and R4, R5, and R6 each are independently a hydrogen atom or a 1-4C alkyl group.
