Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of washing durability of conventional antistatic agents, and the purpose of the present invention is to provide an antistatic treatment agent for fibers, which is capable of imparting a fiber material with excellent antistatic properties, while having excellent washing durability. An antistatic treatment agent for fibers according to the present invention contains water and a polymer which is obtained by polymerizing a polymerizable component that contains a monomer (A) represented by general formula (1). The ratio of the monomer (A) in the polymerizable component is 40% by mole or more. (In formula (1), R1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group; R2 represents an alkylene group having 1-3 carbon atoms; each of R3, R4 and R5 independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1-3 carbon atoms; X- represents a halide ion, a hydroxide ion, RaSO3 -, RbOSO3 - or RcCOO-; and each of Ra, Rb and Rc independently represents an organic group.)
