COMPOSITION FOR TREATING FIBER

PURPOSE: To obtain a compsn. comprising a specified fabric care ingredient and a UV absorber by which SPF is improved by treating a fiber product with it in a rinsing step.
CONSTITUTION: A fiber product after washing is treated in a rinsing step with a rinsing compsn. in which (A) 0.2-20 wt.%, based on the total weight of the compsn., of a UV absorber selected from a hydroxyaryl-1,3,5-triazine, sulphonated-1,3-5-triazine, an O-hydroxyphenylbenzotriazle or a 2-aryl-2H- benzotriazole, (B) 5-25 wt.% of a fabric care ingredient such as an imidazoline cationic fabric softener or quaternary ammonium or their mixture and (C) the remainder of water are blended, to improve the SPF(sunlight protective factor) value.
