PURPOSE: To provide a composition composed of a specific urethane-modified (meth)acrylate and a polymerizable monomer and giving a hard coat or a cured coating film having excellent antistaticity, scratch resistance, abrasion resistance and anti-fogging property.
CONSTITUTION: The composition containing (A) a urethane-modified (meth) acrylate of formula (R1 is H or methyl; R2 is polyhydric alcohol compound residue; R3 is diisocyanate compound residue; R4 is residue produced by removing OH groups from both terminals of a polyethylene oxide or a random or block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide having an average molecular weight of 1,000-7,500; (m) is 1-3) and (B) a polymerizable monomer (e.g. N-vinyl-2-pyrrolidone). The residue R4 of the component A is preferably polyethylene glycol residue from the viewpoint of the antistaticity, anti-fogging property, etc., of the cured coating film. The compound for giving the residue R2 is e.g. ethylene glycol and the compound for giving the residue R3 is e.g. 2,4-tolylene diisocyanate.
