To provide a compressing-fixing method for a T-shirt by which the compressed and fixed product does not get out of shape, and therefore, can display a high commodity value.

This compressing-fixing method is used to fold, compress and fix the T-shirt 10a. In this case, the T-shirt 10a is folded several times and formed into a band-shape article 10b. Then, both end sections of the band-shape article 10b are superposed inward, and doubly rolled sections 18 are formed. Then, the upper surfaces of both rolled sections 18 are made to meet. At the same time, a central section 19 between both rolled sections 18 is bent at a right angle to the rolled sections 18, and further folded back, and a semi- completed product 10c of a T-shape is formed. The semi-completed product 10c is inserted in a prototype hole 2a of a T-shape of an intermediate die 2 which is placed on a lower die 3. Then, the semi-completed product 10c is pressed by an upper die 1 to compress and fix the semi-completed product 10c, and thus, a product 10 is formed.
