PURPOSE: To provide a compression packing device in which work can be performed very easily in a short period of time, and an item to be treated after being compressed can be sufficiently tightened.

CONSTITUTION: In a compression packing device 1, lock camps 17, 17..., i.e., guiding mechanisms, rear end cord engaging elements 18, 18..., and front end cord engaging elements 19, 19... are provided at the upper end of the rear wall 6 of a compression room 4, at the rear end of a bottom wall 7, and the front end thereof, respectively, and a plurality of packing cords 15, 15... are parallelly guided by the guide mechanisms along the rear wall 6 and bottom wall 7. And belts with teeth 22, 22... mating with driving gears in a gear box 13 are disposed in a compression board 12, which vertically moves in the room 4, so as to be projected, and by rotaing a handle 25, the belts 22, 22..., together with midway points of the cords 15, 15..., are projected from the rear end to the forward end in the board 12.
