Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the influence of white noise, etc., exerted on the computation result of a computation unit at A/D conversion time.SOLUTION: A computation system comprises a conversion unit 21 and a computation unit 22. The conversion unit 21 converts a first analog signal AS1 from a current sensor 31 into a first digital signal DS1 in a first conversion process. The conversion unit 21 converts a second analog signal AS2 from a reference potential point into a second digital signal DS2 in a second conversion process. The reference potential point in the second conversion process is at the same potential as a reference potential point in the first conversion process. The computation unit 22 subtracts the square of second effective value of the second digital signal DS2 in a second period from the square of first effective value based on the effective value of the first digital signal DS1 in a first period and takes the square root of the result, and thereby computes the effective value of a first current I1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
