Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly transfer plural video sources to a display controller without utilizing the system bus.
SOLUTION: The plural video devices for handling mutually different animation image data, i.e., PC card controller 17, MPEG2 decoder 18, P1394 controller 20 and video capture 31, are each provided with an animation image output port connected to a ZV(zoom video) port 4, in addition to an interface with a PCT bus 2. Consequently, for any animation image source, the direct transfer is made possible to a display controller 14 through the ZV port 4 without using PCT bus 2, with a result that an efficient display is made possible for various animation image sources.
