An angle control lens 11 is formed from a translucent member with a shape that is rotation symmetrical around an axis X. An LED 15 is disposed in a light incident area D of a recessed shape. Of light emitted from the LED 15, light travelling towards a convex area A is emitted forward from the convex area A. Light emitted from a peripheral side of the angle control lens 11 is reflected by a peripheral mirror 12 and guided to a direction that substantially intersects the axis X, that is, a direction where a central mirror 13 is located. The central mirror 13 reflects light from the peripheral mirror 12. The reflected light is guided ahead of the angle control lens 11, and passed through aperture of the peripheral mirror 12. Consequently, almost all the light reaches a cross dichroic prism 2.
