Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts and assembly man-hours by providing a joint base body, which forms a facing part rotationally around a connection shaft, and a projection part in each of two split joints and inserting a longitudinal bar connection cylinder into the projection rotationally by means of a connection bolt.
SOLUTION: In a split joint 1 constructed of hemispherical joint base body 10 and a projection part 11, a shaft hole 16 is bored in the base body 10, a facing part 13 concentric with the shaft hole 16 is formed on a cut port, and a screw hole 12 is cut in the projection part 11. Two split joints 1 are combined together freely rotationally by bringing the facing parts 13 into mutual contact and inserting a connecting shaft 5 into the shaft holes 16 with the projection parts 11 positioned coaxially in the opposite directions mutually. In assembly of the split joint 1 and a longitudinal bar connection cylinder 2 by a connection bolt 6, a connection cylindrical part 21 is fixed between a bolt head part 62 and the base body 10 if the projection part 11 tip part is designed in a dimension so as not to project into the connection part beyond the connection cylindrical part 21, while the connection cylindrical part 21 can be turned if the projection part 11 tip part is designed in a dimension so as to protrude to the connection part. Therefore, a body edge or a longitudinal bar can be bent linearly/horizontally and its inclination can be varied in the height direction, while the number of parts can be reduced.
