Abstract:
To connect a top mullion with a lower mullion using a joint sleeve without moving the top mullion upward.
A joint sleeve 10 is fitted into the hollow part 6 of a top mullion 1-1, and a bolt 24 is threaded into the joint sleeve 10 from an oblong hole 23 in the top mullion 1-1 to hold the joint sleeve 10 in the top mullion 1-1. After the top mullion 1-1 is placed on a lower mullion 1-2 without moving upward, the joint sleeve 10 is fitted into the hollow part 6 of the lower mullion 1-2 to enable the upper and lower mullions to be connected together by the joint sleeve 10.
