PURPOSE: To provide an interface structure for electronic equipment capable of preventing deterioration of transmission signals, and carrying out measurement and maintenance by connecting a connector of a daughter board with a double connector on the back side of a back pane by way of a conversion connector.
CONSTITUTION: Each daughter board 2 is inserted in a chassis 1 at the same span and connected with the front surface of a double-sided connector 10 installed to a back plane 6 on the back side of the chassis 1. A back plane side conversion connector 11a of a conversion connector 11 is removably connected with the back side of the double-sided connector 10. The conversion connector 11 comprises the back plane side conversion connector 11a, a daughter side conversion connector 11b, and a flexible base 12 which interfaces these conversion connectors 11a and 11b. This construction makes it possible to measure easily the signals of the daughter board 2 on the back side of the back plane 2. furthermore, it is possible to ease the generation of cross talk noise or skew, align logic time and relax the generation of reflection noise as well.
