PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and securely assemble a door frame formed by combining vertical and horizontal frame members provided with a guide rail guiding a sliding door like a square frame, disassemble it as required, and reassemble it by mounting the door frame in a front opening part of a cabinet body to form a sliding door type metallic cabinet.
SOLUTION: This connection structure of a metallic cabinet is provided with a metallic connection plate 3 connecting a door frame and a cabinet body mutually and a flexible connection block 33 made of synthetic resin which connects vertical and horizontal frame members constituting the door frame in cooperation with the connection plate 3 into a right-angled L shape while an end face of the frame member 5 and 7 on one side opposes to a side face of the frame member 5 and 7 on the other side. In a connection block 33, a lid part 35 blocking an end part opening of the frame member 5 and 7 on one side and an elastic connection part 34 which protrudes from a side face of the frame member 5 and 7 on one side and is press-fitted and fixed in an end part opening of the frame member 5 and 7 on the other side are integrally formed, and a part extending from a fixed part 30 for the frame member 5 and 8 on one side in the connection plate 3 is inserted into the elastic connection part 34.
