To provide a connector for a card which prevents simultaneous mounting of a plurality of cards, and erroneous insertion of a card into an inappropriate insertion port for the card.
The connector for the card includes: a housing having a first insertion port 11 corresponding to a large card 71 and a second insertion port 12 corresponding to a small card 75 which is narrower and thinner than the large card 71; a shutter member 5 for opening and closing the first insertion port 11; and a lock member 7 which locks the shutter member 5 in a closed state when the large card 71 is not inserted into the first insertion port 11, unlocks the shutter member 5 by being driven by the large card 71 when the large card 71 is insert into the first insertion port 11, and restricts insertion of the small card 75 into the second insertion port 12.
